Mayor Stan Files Public Records Requests Related to Portland's Failed Handling of Antifa
PORTLAND—Today, Wednesday May 4th, Sandy Mayor Stan Pulliam held a press conference outside of the Hatfield Courthouse in Portland after filing public records requests of the City of Portland and Portland Police Bureau, among others:
"We know our brave police are capable and willing to end the violence on our streets," said Mayor Stan. "But their hands are tied. We won't rest until we uncover policies or pressures on the police to not engage with and charge Antifa with violent crimes."

"Four days ago, I came to Portland with a group of supporters to exercise our constitutionally protected right to free speech," continued Pulliam. "What we experienced was only a small example of what we have seen for the past two years: A group of Antifa thugs are allowed to rule the streets of Portland with complete impunity. And while we never got help from the police to stop and arrest Antifa when they assaulted us, we know that we were far from the first with that story."
Today Friends of Stan Pulliam filed public records requests for all documents and communications related to the incident between the City of Portland and Portland Police Bureau, as well as any communications related to policies on priorities of responses for similar incidents.
